Creating a realistic model for AR projects can be problematic due to deadlines, budgets and the final weight of the object. We know a way to deal with the existing restrictions!
For the project of the medical clothing brand, where it was important to show how clothes look on real models, we created a "3D effect” by shooting with a chroma key.
We recorded models in the brand's clothing on video. The final result was added to augmented reality considering the position of the device – the models were always rotated perpendicular to the viewer, without the possibility to look behind them.
It created the effect of volume and allowed us to solve the main task of the client – to show how the clothes look as realistic as possible.
