GauGAN

An amazing web tool from Nvidia that turns sketches into photorealistic landscapes. The program works on the SPADE neural network.
The tool has a palette in which each color corresponds to some of the elements of the landscape: land, vegetation, buildings, etc.
The process of creating a picture is quite simple: you start painting over the areas with colors from the palette, and the neural network transforms them into landscape. It looks much like drawing in Paint!

We applied this approach to creating a picture for the Artlife project. With the help of a neural network, we achieved the effect of switching from a sketch to a real picture, where the landscape obtained from the sketch was an intermediate stage
