Portals are doors to a virtual world to which a person can be transferred using augmented reality. For a projectwhere we needed to show the cities of the future, we used a similar approach. The viewer only needs a smartphone with an installed application to get into 360 spheres with a digital environment. Inside the portals you can move around while holding your smartphone in your hands. It is indeed virtual reality without VR glasses!
